Native Planet Outdoor Club weekend ride: PROS Lite (Northern Part)

PROS Lite (Northern Part)
Our First Native Planet Classic & RAMROD Training Ride

Where: Seattle

Distance: 40-45 miles

Pace: Moderate (cue-sheets will be available for people who'd like to ride it at their own pace)

Terrain: Very hilly

Start: 9:00 AM Discovery Park

Weather Cancellation: Heavy rain cancels, light drizzle doesn't

Regroup: At designated spots and especially after climbs

Leader: Dan Wakefield - 206-283-1993

The first Perimeter Ride Of Seattle (PROS) was organized last year by the Seattle Bicycle Club and Dan Wakefield. The route was amazing, taking 200 riders down unknown back roads and through beautiful parks and famous hills. This Sunday (March 26) Dan is offering us a modified version of the northern half of PROS with great sections added to make this ride 40-45 miles. It will be led at a moderate pace, but there are enough steep hills to challenge all riders. Cue sheets will be available so riders who'd prefer to ride at a different pace are welcome to do so. This is the first ride of our training series for the Native Planet Classic and for RAMROD. As the snow melts, we will soon start leading rides in the mountains.

The start will be at the Discovery Park north parking lot at 9:00 AM. Please have your bike ready by 9. (View start map)
Bring a tool bag with a couple of spare tubes and a pump or CO2 cartridge.
We look forward to riding with you this Sunday.
