Native Planet Outdoor Club: 2006  Rides

Each weekend ride is different. Weekday rides start from the same place at the same time and distances depend on the group and weather conditions on that day.

You will find a description of each ride including pace level, distance, terrain type, meeting place, and cancellation policies. Please choose rides appropriate for your skills and experience. If you are not sure, we recommend that you choose the pace of your first ride conservatively: often riders will initially enter rides one or two levels below their abilities. Such riders are welcome to ride toward the front, but the tour leaders will lead at the pace indicated for the ride.

Pace & Description:

Easy: Under 10 mph
Leisurely: 10-12 mph
Moderate: 14-16 mph
Brisk: 16-18 mph
Strenuous: 18-21 mph
Elite: 22+ mph

Note: You should be able to ride at your chosen pace on the flat for at least 20 minutes without interruption. Climbing paces are much slower.
