Do you have what it takes to ride those
67 miles?
If you do, join us for the epic
NP Super-Torture
Super-Century that combines this route with the Southern route.

About this Ride: The Native Planet Hill Century is a unique way to
discover most of the scenic and challenging hills in the vicinity of
Woodinville, Redmond and Kirkland. J-Philippe has designed an entire century
around just those hills so you’ll have the chance to meet them all. Some you
will love and some you might hate; fortunately, the ride will be modular so it’s
easy to omit the steepest hills from your route or even cut the entire ride
short before you bonk.

Cue-sheets will be available by email and upon request, and all cyclists riding at any pace are welcome
(RSVP required). We will start and finish at the Marymoor Velodrome.

Donations to Native Planet are appreciated but not required. If you like this ride and would like to support the Native Planet cause, you can donate to Native Planet directly from its
website, and/or support the Native Planet Outdoor Club by
becoming a member, and/or purchasing a
jersey or
water bottle

Ride Start: Marymoor Velodrome parking lot (Marymoor Park), Redmond, WA.
($1 parking fee). Important New Meeting Place:
We will meet and start at the parking lot located at the East Entrance of
the Park close to the intersection between NE Marymoor Way, NE 65th St and 176th
Ave NE. View

Meet at: 7:30 a.m. Start at: 8:00 a.m. (All participants must sign
the release form by 745 AM. Please be ready and on your bike for the route
briefing at 7:50 AM.)

Difficulty: The longest guided route is 67 miles with
more than
7500ft of climbing and 18 hills, the shortest loop is 47 mile with enough climbs to
be challenging (10 or 12 hills). View
Maps... (note: these are the old maps. A few changes will soon be uploaded
and sent via email when you RSVP).
This ride probably is one of the most challenging metric centuries in the Seattle area, but we
stayed true to our modular approach, and there are many possibilities to skip hills
and shorten the distance (for example, you can skip the last section and return
to Marymoor on the Burke Gilman trail shortening your ride to 47 miles).

Lunch stop: None planned. Make sure to bring some snacks and your
favorite energy food.

Safety Issues: This ride is recommended for experienced moderate to
strenuous cyclists.
We encourage people to ride at their own pace, we emphasize safety and
strict adherence to traffic rules. Helmets must be worn at all times.

Cancellation: No cancellations.

Note:
It is a NP Classic & PoP Training
ride, the climbs are
challenging and it is a self-guided route. J-Philippe will ride the course at a
Brisk pace and welcome all those who want to join him to do so. Other NP members
may lead smaller groups at various paces.
