Native Planet Classic 2006 - Volunteer For Fun

We can’t do the Native Planet Classic without your help!

Seattle-based Native Planet is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of threatened indigenous cultures worldwide. Through photo documentaries, cultural ecotourism and humanitarian projects, we offer native peoples a global presence that facilitates their self-empowerment and helps them protect their own cultures, lands and lifestyles.

On June 23, we will host our second edition of the Native Planet Classic fundraiser, a cycling event in the spectacular North Cascades. We need volunteers to help with pre-event organization and preparation but, more importantly, we need a lot of assistance in Winthrop, WA, for the ride itself. Camp, hike, feast, shop or just enjoy the outdoors! Come help us support this crucial cause and then enjoy the rest of the weekend in Winthrop. It is a laid-back, stage-set-Western kind of town with lodging ranging from camping to full-service resorts, great food and easy access to some of the North Cascades most beautiful country for all kinds of outdoor sports.
