Native Planet Classic - June 20, 2009

A Spectacular North Cascades Ride - 3 Routes: 28, 61 and 127 miles

In its 3rd year, the 2008 Native Planet Classic was a success. The number of participants increased, as well as the amount of funds raised for the Native Planet NGO to support indigenous people. Participants were pleased by the quality of the ride, food and support and the cheerfulness of our volunteer team. Cyclists, fundraisers, donors, volunteers and sponsors all rose to the Native Planet Classic challenge to support those who "ride 4 a reason" and the mission of Native Planet. Check out this ride report from 2008!

June 20, 2009 NPOC will be the fourth annual Native Planet Classic. With a brand new and growing team of organizers, and growing number of dedicated cyclists, we are planning to raise the bar even further with the quality of services we offer our riders. Don't miss our 2009 Native Planet Classic, mark your calendar today and register now through Active.com to benefit from our early bird discount.

Ride the Native Planet Classic 4 a Reason

As people become more aware of the needs of the world around them, organizing the best-supported ride just isn't enough anymore. We ride to support the crucial work of Native Planet, a unique non-governmental organization (NGO) that addresses indigenous peoples’ issues in a way that no one else does. They need our help to raise funds and awareness to enable the world’s last traditional indigenous people to protect their own culture, lifestyle, lands and health. Because of the scope of its international humanitarian work, Native Planet relies on donations to make a difference. We invite you to visit Native Planet to learn about their work and then join us on June 20, 2009 for our next NP Classic event.
