It saddens us to inform you about the sudden death of Jason McNabb on the 25th
of August 2006. Jason was one of the most active and generous volunteers supporting
Native Planet as well as being a member of the Native Planet Outdoor Club
(NPOC). Amanda, his wife, has always been an avid cyclist and NPOC
participant—many of you know her; Jason’s contributions to our events were not
as visible to most people. In addition to raising funds and awareness for Native
Planet, Jason’s work had an impact on every participant in NPOC events: his
warmth, kindness and enthusiastic volunteering contributed greatly to the
quality of each cyclist’s experience. He will be greatly missed.
Amanda requests that
donations be made to Native Planet in Jason’s name in lieu of flowers.
